U.S. Cellular (NYSE: USM) has named Nakeita Stewart as its new Director of Corporate Owned Sales for the Midwest Territory, which covers Missouri and Central Illinois. Stewart succeeds Dorsey Heisler, who retired in December after 23 years with the wireless company.
Stewart brings with her more than 11 years of sales, development and project management experience, most recently serving as a Multi-Channel Area Sales Manager for AT&T in Atlanta.

Stewart is relocating to Columbia, Mo., from Atlanta, Ga. She earned a degree in psychology and business management and organization skills from Spelman College, and an Executive Masters in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University. Over the years, Stewart has been actively involved in a number of organizations and looks forward to community involvement opportunities with U.S. Cellular.
