10/31/11 – Haberberger Completes Work at Jefferson City Water Reclamation Facility

St. Louis, Mo., Oct. 31, 2011… Haberberger, Inc., a mechanical contracting company based in St. Louis, announced that its team recently completed work on the mechanical portion of a project to add ultraviolet treatment to the Jefferson City Water Reclamation Facility, a wastewater treatment facility located in Jefferson City, Mo. The Haberberger team finished the project on schedule.

Haberberger’s crew, led by project manager Jeff Roberts and general foreman Clay Buxton, worked with Jefferson City-based Sircal Contracting to complete the project. The Haberberger team was responsible for tying 54-inch ductile iron pipe into the existing effluent piping to route the plant’s waste matter into the ultraviolet facility prior to discharge. When both 54-inch lines were tied in, a portion of the plant had to be shut down in order to safely complete the project, making Haberberger’s work crucial to the ongoing operation of the facility.
