McKnight Place Assisted Living is pleased to announce the hiring of Tracy Cecil as the Executive Director of McKnight Place Assisted Living. In her new role, Cecil will oversee day-to-day operations for the McKnight Place Assisted Living Community, which is set to open in early December.
A resident of O’Fallon, Mo., Cecil is excited to be continuing her career in one of St. Louis’ premier senior living communities at the Gatesworth in University City. Before being named executive director, Cecil served as administrator of Parc Provence, also a Gatesworth Community, and she trained for almost four years as the assistant administrator both at Parc Provence and McKnight Place Skilled Nursing. In 2008, Cecil graduated from Lindenwood University with a bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, and she further sharpened her skills by becoming a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in 2009. Her knowledge and work ethic has earned her the Dementia Care Master Clinician Certificate, the Rehabilitation Excellence Award from Friesen Enterprises, and also the Rehabilitation Department Award from the National Health Care Organization.
In recent weeks, Cecil has been instrumental in the overall management and operations of McKnight Place Assisted Living. Tracy is responsible for the hiring, training and supervision of all staff and will ensure quality service for all residents, family members and community advocates.
