6/8/17 – Raging A’s Days June 17-30 Rewards Kids’ Hard Work in School with Extra Fun in the Sun

With summer underway, parents are searching for fun and safe summer activities for their kids. As temperatures in the area continue to rise through June, many community members and their children find respite in the cool waters at Raging Rivers WaterPark. For its 28th season, Raging Rivers invites outstanding students, kindergarten through high school, to spend a day at the WaterPark for free between June 17 and 30, when they bring in their report card with at least one ‘A’ on it.

“Kids around here work really hard all year to get through school with good grades, and we believe their efforts shouldn’t go unnoticed,” says Donna Morgan, general manager of Raging Rivers WaterPark. “Raging Rivers wants to show students their hard work and good grades can pay off. Smaller rewards like ours will hopefully encourage them to keep up the good work as they move on through higher education and earn lifetime rewards that come from a solid education.”

In past years, Raging Rivers ran their Raging Readers Program, rewarding students and supporting reading outside the classroom with similar rewards. The new Raging A’s Days program supports students excelling in any area of their schoolwork. Those unable to attend one of the special Raging A’s Days (June 17-30) at the WaterPark, can still bring in their report card with at least one ‘A’ on it and receive $10 off their admission price on an alternative regular admission day. The deal cannot be combined with any other admission discounts, including the afternoon special.

Raging Rivers WaterPark admission is $20.95 for guests under 48 inches tall and senior citizens ages 60 and older, $24.95 for guests over 48 inches tall. Admission is free for children under the age of two. Additional details about Raging A’s Days, season passes, cabana rentals, company partnership discounts, group and party packages, operating hours and additional deals throughout the summer can be found by visiting www.ragingrivers.com or calling the waterpark at (618) 786-2345.

Raging Rivers first opened its gates in the summer of 1990 and made its mark as the first water park in the Greater St. Louis area. It has since evolved into a 28-acre, multi-million dollar attraction has catered to millions of visitors over the years. Raging Rivers WaterPark is located at 100 Palisades Parkway off the Great River Road in Grafton, Ill.; for more information call (618) 786-2345, or visit www.ragingriver.com.
