The Hauser Group, a St. Louis-based public relations firm, today announced that Sara Randolph has joined the firm as an account executive. The company also has promoted Shelene Treptow to account manager and social media coordinator.
Randolph, who grew up in Wildwood, Mo., and currently resides in downtown St. Louis, will work alongside the agency’s staff to provide comprehensive media relations services for a range of clients. Prior to joining the Hauser Group, Randolph worked at KMOV-TV in St. Louis, where she handled various social media projects for the station and refined her writing skills as a contributing writer for KMOV.com. Randolph earned a Journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, with an emphasis in Television and Radio Broadcast. She worked as a reporter and anchor for the local Columbia news station, KOMU, while she attended school. As a “backpack journalist,” which involved pitching, filming, voicing and editing all of her own stories, she acquired a diverse set of skills that will make her a valuable part of The Hauser Group team. Randolph also gained experience as a radio reporter for Missouri Digital News in Jefferson City, Mo.
A resident of Collinsville, Ill., Treptow has been with The Hauser Group since 2005, most recently serving as senior account executive handling day-to-day responsibilities for clients in the healthcare, eldercare, environmental and transportation arenas. Specific areas of focus have included media relations, event coordination, copy writing and social media. In her new role, she will take on additional responsibilities developing and overseeing the implementation of social media campaigns for various Hauser Group clients, as well as leading the firm’s own social media efforts.
